EMTS Will Remain Open

In accordance with the executive order (D 2020 017) issued by Colorado Governor Jared Polis on March 25th and the Public Heath Order (PHO) (Section III.C) "critical businesses" are excluded from the "stay at home" executive order. The PHO further states that firms and professionals who provide services necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation and critical operation of residences and other Critical Businesses are exempt. Elk Mountain Tree Services, LLC falls into this category of critical business practices.

Tuesdays/Thursdays

To help meet our client's needs, protect ourselves, limit exposure, and direct our operations toward only essential business practices we will perform tree services on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Phones calls and emails will be returned Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.

Safety Measures

Through the guidance from OSHA and the CDC we have updated our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to help us better protect our company, employees, contractors and our clients moving forward. We have developed new ways to bid jobs as well as perform on-site services to help maintain social distancing.

Remote/Social Distance Estimates

To ensure the health and safety of our clients and our employees we are performing estimates either remotely or over the phone while being on location, If you would like a remote estimate, simply contact us via email through the website or call us at 720-722-0699. After getting some details we will request images via email and happily provide you with an estimate.  We are also available for on-site estimates. These can be conducted over the phone, with pre-marked trees, or by keeping a 6'+ buffer.

EMTS Employee Safety Measures

Below is a list of measures currently being taken by EMTS and our employees to help ensure social distancing and promote general cleanliness on-site. Please note that this list is only a few of the many precautions we are currently taking.

  • 6'+ social distance buffer zone at all times.
  • To help insure the 6' buffer zone we have implemented the action of "Cut Twice Lift Once". This is basically an act of cutting something as many times as needed to insure only one person needs to lift it, if applicable.
  • Employees are required to wear neck gators or buffs in addition to our regular PPE (Gloves, hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection)
  • EMTS will highly encourage sick employees to stay home
  • We have eliminated communal vehicles. Steve Neis (owner of EMTS) will drive needed vehicles to and from job sites. All other employees will be required to drive themselves to and from the job sites.
  • All hand-held equipment will be sanitized with wipes and disinfectants at the beginning of each day. This includes, but is not limited to chainsaws, shovels, rakes, rigging equipment etc)
